  • Finance Whiz Kids is a book every child should be exposed to.(And many adults !!) It speaks and illustrates a message of how important money respect and responsibility is vital from the start. It is a wonderful gift you have to want to influence a new generation with financial education from a very young age. We have an education system that fails graduates as they enter the workforce. This is true from trade schools to medical schools. It is a wide path of people who need what you are sharing. Money has no instructions on it and you have provided a manual for our youth to follow.

  • As a financial services professional with a 5 year old I was delighted to find a book like “Making-Money Sunny”. The book hits the mark on several fronts. It’s entertaining for children and keeps them interested, but just as important it teaches them common sense principles about money. I can’t think of another book like it.

  • Learning to save starts at a very young age and this book is great for the young to relate and want to learn about saving. You can’t expect kids to just know about money and this book puts things at their level and therefore it will stick with them. I wish there would have been books like this when I was raising my kids but I now have 5 grandkids and this will be a book that they will remember as they get older. I have been in banking for 28 years and never have I seen a kids finance book put together so well.
-Sherrie Addington, Vice President / Consumer Sales Manager, Regions Bank.

  • I have been in banking for over 16 years and found there is such a gap in basic financial knowledge in children and adult’s knowledge of where to turn to help their children. This book fills both of these gaps. Darrah makes it fun and entertaining!

  • Darrah Brustein’s love of children, financial education and commitment to providing today’s generation with the tools that made her successful, make her children’s books a school or home library favorite. Her illustrations and characters make money concepts easy to follow and to retain for young children. I am certain that we will see the fruit of Darrah’ s labor by way of a more financially astute “next generation”, that will render lower student loan default rates, better credit scores, and increased savings. GREAT JOB DARRAH!!!
